Just a reminder to everyone who has children and grandchildren in grades 3 and up that now is the time to put names forward and be trained to serve Mass.
Sign-up sheets can be found in the church; St. Michael Catholic School also has them available.

Guiding the Sacred Dance:
Our Altar Server Ministry

At St. Vincent de Paul Parish, the altar servers step onto a sacred stage—a dance of reverence and service.

These guardians stand at the gateway to the divine. As they aid in the Eucharist's preparation, their hands engage in more than the handling of sacred vessels; they touch the enigma of Christ's presence. Bearing the processional cross, lighting the candles, or holding the missal, their silence speaks volumes: “Behold the Lamb of God.” Their ministry surpasses simple obligation—it is a deep act of presence.

Remember, the Altar Servers are members of a holy ensemble. Their movements and intentions are significant. So, tie on those symbolic ballet shoes and move with devotion. May each gesture reflect the perpetual cadence of grace.
